Notes

Reversible.
Knit bottom up.
Knit using the elongated chevron & rib stitch.
Knit in the round with a circular needle.
When knitting in the round you’re always knitting the right side of your work.

Knitting Abbreviations

*– * – repeat between * to end of round
BO – bind-off in pattern
CO – cast-on (long-tail cast-on method)
K – knit stitches (K1 means to knit 1 stitch)
P – purl stitches (P2 means to purl 2 stitches)
PM – place marker
RS – right side
S1PW – slip one stitch purl-wise
STS – stitches
WS – wrong side

Chevron Wine Cozy Pattern Instructions

CO 36, split 18 STS per needle, PM, join in the round.

Rounds 1-4: P1, [K2, P2 twice] K1 [P2, K2 twice] P1, [K2, P2 twice] K1 [P2, K2 twice]

Rounds 5-8: [P2, K2 twice] [P3, K2, P2, K2 x3] P1

Rounds 9-12: K1 *[P2, K2 twice] P1 [K2, P2 twice] K1, [P2, K2 twice] P1 [K2, P2 twice]

Rounds 13-16: [K2, P2 twice], [K3, P2, K2, P2 x3] K1

Repeat rows 1-16, 3 times, approximately 7″ (18cm)

Ribbing:
*K1, P1* for about 7 1/2″ (19cm)

Weave in the ends.

No blocking necessary.
