Knit bottom up.
Cast-on edge is the width.
Knit using the stockinette stitch.
Knitting Abbreviations
*– * – repeat between * to end of round
BO – bind-off in pattern
CO – cast-on (long-tail cast-on method)
K – knit stitches (K1 means to knit 1 stitch)
P – purl stitches (P2 means to purl 2 stitches)
RS – right side
STS – stitches
WS – wrong side

Pattern Instructions
Using Lion Brand Thick & Quick with US 11 (8mm) Knitting Needles
CO 22
Row 1 (WS): *K1, P1*
Row 2 (RS): *K*
Row 3 (WS): *P*
Repeat rows 2-3 until it measures 7″ (18cm)
Dimensions: 10″ Wide x 7″ (25cm x 18cm)
BO in the K1, P1 pattern (this helps keep it from curling).
Sew the side edges together.
Weave in the ends.
No blocking necessary.
Fur:
Using Go for Faux with US 15 (10mm) Knitting Needles
CO 22 STS
Row 1, 3, 5 (WS): *P*
Row 2, 4 (RS): *K*
Row 6 (RS): BO in all knit stitches
Place the fur on top of the Thick & Quick. Overlap it about 1″ (2.5cm) and sew it onto the cozy with thread or cotton yarn.
Sew the edges together.
Weave in the ends.
