Pattern Instructions

Using US 15 (10mm) circular needles with a 16″ (40cm) cable.

CO 40 STS, PM, join in the round.

Rounds 1-4: *K1, P1*

Switch to size US 17 (12mm) circular needles with a 16” (40cm) cable.

Rounds 5-19: *K* until it measures about 6” (15cm) from CO edge, or desired length.

Note (Optional):

When the stitches get too tight switch to DPNs or a longer cable and knit using the magic loop method.

Decrease for the crown, Knit In The Magic Loop Method:

Round 20: *K3, K2TOG, PM*

Round 21: *K2, K2TOG, SM*

Round 22: *K1, K2TOG, SM*

Round 23: *K2TOG, remove stitch marker*

End:

Without binding-off, cut the yarn leaving a 10” (25cm) tail, pull it through the remaining STS, push through the top hole to the inside and then weave in the ends.

Block, if desired. (I didn’t block mine.)

Add pom-pom (Optional).

I know many of you enjoy working from a paper copy of your knitting pattern that’s why I offer a printer-friendly PDF completely ad-free on Etsy, Ravelry or Brome Fields.

That way you can have lifetime access to it and download it to any device and view it from anywhere, without ads (and the pattern might not be around forever).

The ads on this website make it possible for me to offer the patterns for free, that way you can try it before you buy it. :)
