Gauge

9.5 STS & 15 rounds per 4” (10cm) square, knit in the pattern below

Notes

Not reversible.
Knit bottom up.
Knit using the stockinette knit stitch.
Knit in the round using the magic loop method with a circular needle.
When knitting in the round you’re always knitting the right side of your work.

Knitting Abbreviations

*– * – repeat between * to end of round/row
BO – bind-off in pattern
CO – cast-on (long-tail cast-on method)
K – knit stitches (K1 means to knit 1 stitch)
K2TOG – knit 2 stitches together
P – purl stitches (P2 means to purl 2 stitches)
PM – place marker
STS – stitches

6oz Pattern Instructions

Measurements: 4 1/2″ wide x 3 3/4″  (11cm x 10cm)

Yardage: 10 – 20 yards (9 – 18 meters)

Weight: 0.7oz (20g)

CO 20 STS, split 10 STS on each needle, PM, join in the round

Round 1: *K1, P1*

Rounds 2-11: *K*

Round 12: BO in the K1, P1 pattern

Weave in the ends.

No blocking necessary.

12oz Pattern Instructions

Measurements: 5 1/2″ wide x 4 1/4″ (14cm x 11cm)

Yardage: 15 – 25 yards (14 – 23 meters)

Weight: 1.1oz (31g)

CO 24 STS, split 12 STS on each needle, PM, join in the round

Round 1: *K1, P1*

Rounds 2-12: *K*

Round 13: *K4, K2TOG*

Round 14: BO in the K1, P1 pattern

Weave in the ends.

No blocking necessary.

24oz Pattern Instructions

Measurements: 6 1/2” wide x 6 1/2″ (16cm x 16cm)

Yardage: 20 – 30 yards (18 – 27 meters)

Weight: 1.6oz (45g)

CO 28 STS,  split 14 STS on each needle, PM, join in the round

Round 1: *K1, P1*

Rounds 2-20: *K*

Round 21: *K3, K2TOG* K3

Rounds 22: *K*

Round 23: BO in the K1, P1 pattern and then K the last stitch

Weave in the ends.

No blocking necessary.
